PREPARING FOR SUCCESSFUL ADMISSIONS
At St. Monica, we recognize that choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision. Our goal through the admissions process is to develop a thorough understanding of each student who applies while providing an opportunity for you to experience the school and connect with our community.
Since 2020, St. Monica Catholic School on Mercer Island has offered a Catholic classical high school education. St. Monica will be accepting applications for its Fall 2025 this September. A classical liberal arts school focused on nurturing clarity of thought and love for truth as guided by the wisdom of the Catholic Church, St. Monica’s high school program forms students in wonder and virtue through close-knit learning cohorts taught by expert, faith-filled faculty.
Students and families interested in St. Monica Catholic High School begin the admissions process by creating an account in Finalsite (formerly SchoolAdmin), our online application management system. Through Finalsite you can submit an application, complete supplemental forms, request teacher evaluations and transcripts and track the status of your application online. No exam required.
For applicants applying from other Catholic schools, this form is completed by their 8th grade teacher and submitted to us for you. Homeschool families will need to submit these forms directly.

Crusader For A Day
If you are an 8th grader considering applying to St. Monica Catholic High School, we welcome you to spend a day with us through our Crusader for a Day program. Visits start October 22 and end December 6. These visits are optional. However, we highly encourage you to make an appointment and see what happens on a typical day at St. Monica!
We will provide a student host to be with you throughout the day. Student visits are available on Tuesdays or Thursdays, with a maximum of three visitors per day. You can register for a Crusader visit within your online admission portal. For questions about Crusader for a Day visits, please contact Jamie North.

Tuition
Tuition for St. Monica Catholic High School for the 2024-2025 school year is $15,700. Tuition increases approximately 5% per year. This is considerably lower than the existing Catholic high schools in the Seattle area, where tuition ranges from $18,275 to $39,500. We do have tuition assistance available and try to make St. Monica Catholic High School accessible for all families.
