Admissions Policy
Nondiscriminatory Policy
St. Monica School welcomes students of all races, colors, and national or ethnic origins, ensuring equal access to the rights, privileges, programs, and activities available to all students. The school does not discriminate in its educational policies, admissions process, athletics, or other school-administered programs.
Acceptance Policy
When considering applicants for admission, priority is given to:
- Active parishioners of St. Monica Church
- Siblings of currently enrolled students
- Children of St. Monica School alumni
- Active members of other Catholic parishes
Admissions decisions are based on the space available in a particular grade and a variety of factors (e.g., academics, behavior, attendance, teacher comments) and are at the discretion of the school administration.
Age Requirements
- Children entering Pre-K 3/4 must be three (3) years old and potty trained by August 31st.
- Children entering Pre-K 4/5 must be four (4) years old by August 31st.
- Children entering Kindergarten must be five (5) years old by August 31st.
