NEWS OF NOTE:  Please remember that our day begins with attendance at the 8 AM Parish Mass on ALL Friday mornings.

(The exception is First Fridays when school starts as usual at 8:30 AM and the students go as a school to the 9 AM Mass).

October is the month of the ROSARY…Remember to pray it daily.

 

OCTOBER CALENDAR:

Oct. 8: Pre-K picture day and picture retakes/AM in Commons

Oct. 9: NO SCHOOL/ Archdiocesan Religion Articulation Day for Teachers/Extended Care Open

Oct. 15 & 16: NO SCHOOL/ Parent/Teacher Conferences/Extended Care Open

Oct. 23 & 30: Attend the 8 AM Parish Mass

Oct. 26-30: 6th grade class gone to Camp

Oct. 30: Last Friday of the month= Free Dress Day

 

Dates to Note:

EXTENDED CARE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON ALL OF THESE DATES. DROP-INS WELCOME. Please give the school office at least 24 hr. notice if you plan to have your child(ren) attend for any length of time on these dates or others after school.

 

LOOKING AHEAD:  SEP classes available on October 19 at 9 AM and October 22 at 6 PM. Both offered in the Family Center.

PARENTS’CLUB:  ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS are now on sale through October 7th. They are available in the school office.

 

PACE Fundraiser:  Packets were sent home to each family Oct. 6th. This optional fundraiser runs Oct. 7-26. Easy and painless! J

 

SCRIP SALES: SCRIP is on sale every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning in the large conference room from 8:30-9:30 AM

 

CYO:

Please check the school website for a link to CYO information and website. You can now register and pay online!!!

 

FYI:

Enrichment Opportunity:  The Science Kit program begins October 13th. It’s never too late to get involved with this fun activity for your children. See the link on the school website under Enrichment at www.stmonicasea.org
