NEWS OF NOTE: Please remember that our day begins with attendance at the 8 AM Parish Mass on ALL Friday mornings.

(The exception is First Fridays when school starts as usual at 8:30 AM and the students go as a school to the 9 AM Mass).

FREE DRESS DAY REMINDER: Since January 29th is an optional conference day, the last Friday we are in school is January 22nd so that will be the FREE DRESS day for January.

 

JANUARY CALENDAR:

LOOKING AHEAD: In-house registration for the 2010-2011 school year will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Registration meetings will be at 8:45 AM and 7 PM in the school library.

 

Middle School Information Night  is on Thursday, February 4th from 7-8 PM in the 6th grade classroom.  Parents wanting to know more about our MS programs are welcome to attend.

 

Catholic Schools Week: Jan. 31- Feb. 5, 2010

Eyes on the Parish:  January 23rd: Farewell to Father Davis: Please join us as we say good-bye. Dinner will be served by the Knights of Columbus after the 5 PM Mass in the GYM.

 

Attention Young Musicians:  St. Monica Parish is looking for interested young singers (ages 7-11 boys & girls) to help fill the Church with beautiful music. The children’s choir is back and we need your golden tones! Rehearsals will be held after the 9:30 AM Mass on specific Sundays beginning January, 2010.

If interested or questions, contact Meg Thorsen through Maggie at the parish office. 232-2900. This choir will sing at Masses on Feb. 7th, March 21st, and May 9th.
