2008 EASTSIDE CHADD MEETING SCHEDULE

Tuesday February 19^th: Tips For Helping Your ADHD Child Succeed in Life: Dr. Harlan Gephart, former director of the Group Health ADHD Clinic, will cover the essential steps that parents need to take to help their ADHD child become successful in all areas of life, including academic, social and emotional.

Tuesday March 19^th: Jeannette Cohen: Understanding IEP’S and 504 Plans: Does your ADHD child need help in school? Will classroom accommodations be enough or does your child need more? Find out who qualifies for IEP’s and 504 Plans and how the revised regulations may be affecting services for students who are struggling in the classroom.

Tuesday April 15^th:How to get your ADHD Kids to do what you want at home (without yelling, threatening or constant reminders): Marcee Kueckelhan, school counselor, will present a positive program for helping kids to become self-motivated to “take care of business” at home with a minimum of wear and tear on Mom and Dad

Tuesday May 20^th: Dr. Ted Mandelkorn: Annual Medication Update:  Will include information about the two newest medications that have recently become available: Vyvanse and the Daytrana Patch.

Tuesday June 17^th: Video Night for kids. Bring the whole family!

Eastside CHADD meets the third Tuesday of the month from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. September — June (except December)
