Meet Mrs. Birashk, Pre-K teacher

Dear Families,

Hi, my name is Talina Birashk and I am thrilled to be in my second year as the Pre-K teacher at St. Monica Parish School. This school has kind and helpful families, wonderful students, and a cheerful, professional staff--I love this school!

I have an AA degree in photography and a BA in Human Development Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I was a preschool Para-educator at the Villa Academy for three years and this is my second year at St. Monica as the lead teacher. My husband Joey (who is head chef at Sport Restaurant) and I live in Bellevue with our three cats; Lucy, Georgie, and Wombat. During the school year Joey will be our special guest Chef and do some baking with the kids :-).

I work hard to provide a developmentally appropriate and learning-enriched classroom for all students. I want to help students discover their amazing abilities and get them started on the road to becoming life-long learners.
