November 28, 2007

Dear St. Monica School Families,
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday together! As November slips away from us we can see that Advent is just around the corner. This favorite time of the Church year is a period of joyful anticipation, hope, and the assurance that God comes to save us.  I encourage you to enjoy this gift of the Advent season with your families through prayer and tradition.

***Please join us for our December First Friday Mass on December 7, 2007 at 9:30 AM!

Stewardship Renewal 2007:

Your Stewardship Commitment card shows your active involvement at St. Monica Parish. Our school is the largest of all of our parish ministries and requires the dedication and support of the entire community to subsidize its mission.  Completing a commitment card shows the parish at large that you are a participating member of this faith community and eligible for the In-Parish Tuition Rate.

We would like to thank the following families who have turned in their commitment cards to date:

Balinbin, Bakun, Brondello, Brown, Bucy, Collier, Carlton, Dahl, DiGirolamo, Gazarek, Holmes-Newhall, Hyde, Jelinek, Jensen, Kardash, Lange, Ledwon, Martin, Mueller, McCarthy, Moe, Macaulay, North, Oricco, Panelli, Perez, Petgrave, Pederson, Rausch, Smallwood, Smith, Sailer, Styer, Schmidt, Tenorio, Tanuwidjaja, Welsh, and White.

As a gentle reminder, it is time to take this opportunity to express your support of our parish with your time, talent and treasure. Please turn in your card any time…in the collection, via mail, at the parish office or at the school. If you have misplaced your card, there are some available in the main school office.

Thank you very much for your generous support!

And…One More Time….Special Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to recently ordained Deacon Larry McDonald!  We are grateful for his strong leadership and steady guidance of our beloved St. Monica Parish community. We congratulate him and wish him all of God’s special blessings!!

As always, I am just a phone call or an email away and my door is always open!

May God bless you and those you love!
