"Where charity and
love prevail there God is ever found..."

From the Desk of Mrs. Dellino,
Principal
April 23, 2008
Dear St. Monica School Families,
We have great news to share regarding tuition
for the 2008-2009 school year! We will be able to lower the tuition
costs for next year!!
The original budget was set based on a
projected enrollment of 225 students and an anticipated 15% benefits
increase. However, due to increased enrollment and a lower
than anticipated increase in benefit/insurance costs, we have been
able to re-adjust tuition. We still have a strong budget base for the
2008-2009 school year! Thanks to David Lockhart, Michele McCarthy, Scott
Martin, Peter Schmidt, and Chris Vacca for their expertise and
conscientious planning and advice with the school budget.
The tuition next school year is as
follows:
1 student : $5,000.00
2 students: $8,800.00
3 students: $10,900.00
4+ students:$12,100.00
Non-parish cost per student: $7,900.00
Those families that have already paid
tuition in full will receive a direct reimbursement. All others will
have their FACTS tuition contracts adjusted accordingly. We are very
pleased to be able to make this adjustment. Please contact me with any
questions. Thank you for your support!!!

School Commission
It is the time of
year when we ask for those interested in serving on the School
Commission to step forward. We ask you to prayerfully “discern” your
willingness to volunteer for a three year term as part of an advisory
group to the Principal and Pastor. Please contact Becky Lindahl at
rabyus@comcast.net if you are interest in taking part in the
discernment process.
School Calendar:
The school calendar for 2008-2009 is
enclosed in today’s family packet. Please note scheduled standardized
testing dates and vacation dates and plan now to make your travel plans
fit within the school calendar. Thank you!
As always, I am just
a phone call or an email away and my door is always open!
May God bless you and those you love!
