The mission of the physical education program at St. Monica School is to provide a balanced quality program which integrates physical skills, social development and fitness opportunities that encourage active healthy lifestyles.
Physical education classes serve to complement other educational areas, in addition to promoting educational outcomes that are not likely to be achieved in other areas. The physical education contributions are expressed through the following student-centered outcomes:
Know the components of fitness and apply them to his/her daily life.
