FYI:

An “EZ” Way to Buy School Supplies: www.EZSchoolsupplies.com

St. Monica School’s K-8 classroom student supply lists are listed with this company. Simply click on our school connection, order the supplies needed, and they will be shipped directly to your home! The school receives 5% profit from each purchase.

Please consider using this resource for your school supply purchases for the 2008-2009 school year!!

A link to this opportunity is on our school website.

Important Communication Reminder:

The weekly paper family envelope will be replaced with a weekly email reminder to check the school website for the information you need from the school. All forms and other materials will be scanned and easily available for your access. If you prefer to still receive a weekly family packet we will be happy to accommodate you. Please contact the school office and inform Ruth Carton.

Otherwise…be on the lookout for weekly school email updates. Thanks for your support of our continued effort to conserve and “go green!”

Thanks from Katharine’s Place!

Thanks to the generous donations at the June 6th first Friday Mass, we were able to send $600.00 in cash donations and $150.00 in SCRIP to needy families.

Weekly Parish Mass Attendance During the 2008-2009 School Year:
The school day will begin on Fridays with attendance at the 8:00 AM Parish Mass. Though this is not mandatory, it is respectfully requested that school students and their parents attend whenever possible.

Please note: Due to the fact that the school students are in charge of and attend the 9:30 AM first Friday Masses, it is not an expectation that anyone attend the 8:00 Mass on these days of the month.

Thanks for your support!

EYES ON THE PARISH:

The parish is in the process of updating the Church Directory.

You may sign up online by going to the parish website at www.stmonica.cc

You may also sign up in person after all Sunday morning Masses in the Family Center.
