CHOIR
With the time constraints we had in preparing for the spring concert, we did not have the time to sing, as hoped, at a couple retirement homes. We will have an end of the year party for all the faithful survivors of the year who gave up their lunchtime recess to sing!
HANDBELLS
We will ring only a couple more times this year. It was amazing how quickly the 7th graders learned to ring. It gave them such a sense of accomplishment. I happened to stand beside them at the Spring Concert finale. I had never watched them from the side. I told them they looked like a powerful turbine engine, ringing out with strong thrusts and eyes glued to the music as they counted their beats. It was beautiful to behold. They had to keep track of the beat, which bell to ring and to ring properly. They were great!
