MUSIC Curriculum

Fourth Grade

The main focus is learning and playing recorders.  Students acquire the ability to:

• produce correct pitch

• adhere to note values

• play in harmony with recorders

• compose/perform phrases

In preparation for joining band, a greater awareness of band and orchestra instruments is fostered.

Students participate in the Christmas Pageant and Spring Concert.
