MUSIC Curriculum

Fifth Grade

Music emphasis includes the exploration of music history, their periods and styles.

Students:

• prepare a report on a composer

• share a musical example of their composer

• attend a Seattle Symphony concert as a class field trip.

Beginning Band is offered twice a week to fifth graders.  This is taught by a teacher from Bishop Blanchet High School.

Students participate in the Christmas Pageant and Spring Concert.
