Songs are learned by rote.

Listen and become aware of pitch, tempo, dynamics, instrumentation and duration.

Listen to excerpts of composed music.

Exposure to music reading; staff, note placement and rhythm patterns.

Experience the playing rhythm instruments, clapping and marching/moving to music.

Participate in the Christmas Pageant and Spring Concert
