Kindergarten Classroom Covenant

The most important rule in our classroom is the rule of RESPECT. I expect the children to respect one another and treat others the way they want to be treated. In accepting the diversity that we each have we in turn accept the beauty of our individuality that God created in us. RESPECT covers all areas of our learning and growing in our classroom whether we are praying, reading, singing or at recess. It is a simple rule that is lovingly enforced.

The children and I came up with a Kindergarten Class Covenant to follow together. The rules of our covenant are:

Our class came up with four good behavior rules that will keep our room safe and fun to learn in. They are:

• Be respectful of yourself and others

• Be a good friend

• Be a good listener

• Be responsible

• Be a model of Christ
