Step One: A gentle reminder Step Two: Make a better choice (Example: Find a different friend to play with, find a better “private office” where you can make a better choice) Step Three: Time alone to think about how you will make better choices next time and an "Oops note" sent home to communicate with the parents about the situation. Classroom management is very important at this age. I am very consistent with the students and they know what will happen if they do not make good choices. I will always pull the student aside and talk to them about what has happened and how to make better choices next time
