TUITION POLICY

Tuition covers only part (about 50%) of the cost of educating children at St. Monica School.  The parish and its members, including non-school families, generously support and subsidize the school to provide for the remainder of the school's operation costs.

Therefore, in the interest of fairness and equity, and to foster educational excellence through financial stability based on a combination of tuition and subsidy, the St. Monica School Commission adopts the following Tuition Policy.  Three tuition rates are established:

  1. In-Parish Families:  The tuition will be a non-subsidized amount.  A contributing family is defined as a family which has a tithing card on file with the parish office, and which is honoring that pledge through regular contributions to the Sunday collections.
  2. Out-of-Parish Families:  The tuition will be a non-subsidized amount as relates to the cost of education of a child at St. Monica School.
  3. Full-Share Family:  A full share family agrees to pay the actual per pupil cost of educating a child at St. Monica School.

Tuition levels and registration fees are established yearly by the School Commission.

Tuition deposit is $300.00 per family

Registration deposit is $125.00 per child

The tuition deposit will be applied towards the August tuition.

Tuition will be paid in 10 monthly payments starting in August and continuing through May.  Registration fees and the $300 tuition deposit are non-refundable.
