"The 12 years I spent as pastor
of St. Monica’s are so rich in
wonderful memories. It is the
small personal things that are
the most dear to me: the
baptisms, young couples getting
married, the funerals, the 1st
communions. But most of all, I
remember how much the children
of St. Monica’s made me laugh.
I
imagine most parishioners
remember big events: remodeling
the church, planting all those
trees, building the new school
addition, re-landscaping the
church grounds. For me, it’s so
nice to look back at those 12
years and realize I don’t have
even one bad memory! God is
good."
