Jan Zipp 206-232-5432 My name is Jan Zipp and I am excited to begin my first year as Librarian at St. Monica Parish School. For the past 12 years I have been the head librarian at Stella Maris Academy, a K-8 Catholic school in La Jolla, California. I am thrilled to once again return home to the great Pacific Northwest and the St. Monica Parish and School communities. As former parishioners of St. Monica Parish, our three children attended St. Monica Parish School before our family moved to San Diego in 1997. I am enjoying renewing old friendships here at St. Monica Parish and School. I have a B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington and a Master of Arts in Teaching with a Reading Specialization from National University in San Diego. In addition to working with all students in the library each week, I will be assisting Mrs. Malone and the third grade class with their reading and writing. I look forward to meeting all the students and their families and working to instill a love of reading in all of our students.
