The St. Monica Speech Team has had an amazing year. We have truly shown that hard work pays off!
Our students worked hard, responded to coaching, and kept up their enthusiasm for five months. This team made us laugh, cry,
and think about our world.

The Middle School Speech Team provides an excellent way for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students to build their writing and oratory skills. The team is led by the school reading specialist and parent volunteers. The students meet weekly in small groups to work on their speeches. They also participate in several different tournaments during the year. This has been a very successful program and many of our graduates go onto participate in their high school speech teams
