School Families Program

The "School Families" program is a leadership opportunity for 8th graders that also helps build a sense of community within the student body.  Children across all grade levels are put in 14 different "Family" groups with two 8th grade leaders and a teacher mentor.  Student "buddies" are also grouped within the same "Family".  "School Families" meet once or twice a month to engage in various activities.  Some examples are community service, playing together, praying together, and eating lunch together.  The students always sit as "School Families" at school Masses.
