B in effort

• Work is completed prior to class

• Work is done with above average effort

• Work is usually neat and well presented

• Student studies

• Student listens and responds in class

C in effort

• Work is completed before class

• Work is done with some effort

• Work is neat

• Student studies for tests

• Student does not engage frequently

• Student listens in class

D in effort

• Work is incomplete or not completed or left at home or unable to be found

• Work shows little effort

• Work is messy

• Student rarely studies

• Student does not engage positively with teacher or peers

• Student does not listen in class

• Student disrupts the class learning environment
