Shakespeare Time line 2008..this is not cast in concrete

The projects will be ready for presentation during the first week of March, unless there are extenuating circumstances     

• Bibliography data due as you access your information

  • (keep track of the books, magazines, encyclopedia      articles and the websites that you use for research  This information should be kept on note-cards.  Make sure that   you have all the information that you need for your final bibliography).You must books as well as websites for your research.

• Bibliography check on February 29^th

• Dates given to Mrs. Smith for presentation on March 3rd

• Negotiations, if needed

Physical Project includes:

• The actual project/ building, jewelry, food presentation etc. with a card attached giving names of team members

• Total amount of time spent, total amount of $ spent

Oral presentation includes:

• Oral presentation by team members (this presentation needs to be prepared and practiced by team members)

• Included in oral presentation:

  • The type of research done and an oral explanation, well rehearsed and presented                 

  • A demonstration/discussion of the project itself

  •  A questions from audience and teacher

 Written Report Requirements:

• Cover

• Table of contents

• Title/dedication page

• Report proper (this includes the research required for your group project.  Depending on the project this might include anything that pertains to accomplishing your task with sufficient knowledge of what you are doing.  ie, food and customs of the day, homes of the day, etc

  • It is important to note that this looks like one report and not a series of reports put together.  While it is written in one voice, there must be collaboration among the team members ( in other words, one person is not made responsible for the report)  You will need to synthesize  the information from all team membes into one report.

  • A page which explains the process of your project (pictures could be included, or this could be done on a poster board)

• Individual time logs

• 1 log indicating costs and $$ spent as a group and what that money was spent for and how the costs were divided equally.

• Your original contracts

• Your Bibliography (completed in class) if you chose this opportunity. The correct format of the bibliography has been given to you early in January and it must be in alphabetical order as well as in the proper format.

Other pertinent data as relates to your project…..

• You may use boards for demonstration…

• You should know how long your presentation will take and recognize that there is a question and answer period

• You must notify me if you need anything special for your presentation

• Your evaluation will be based on the rubric and you will receive separate grades for the project itself, the oral presentation and the report.
