K-3 School-Wide Student Learning Expectations

1. STUDENTS ARE CHRISTIAN ROLE MODELS IN THE COMMUNITY
They demonstrate their faith and values when they:

  • Pray and go to church
  • Are respectful of themselves
  • Make good Choices with their friends
  • Show respect for parents and teachers
  • Respect others even if they are different
  • Make good choices each day
  • Treat others with kindness and remember we are all children of God

2.STUDENTS ENGAGE IN LIFELONG LEARNING ACTIVITIES
They demonstrate these skills when they:

  • Solve problems
  • work to learn new things and to do their best in school
  • Work quietly by themselves and share when they are in a group
  • Take care of their body

3.STUDENTS COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY
They demonstrate effective communication when they:

  • Speak and write clearly
  • Are kind to others
  • Help other who are sad or hurt
  • Are good listeners

4. STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS
They demonstrate citizenship when they:

  • Are positive leaders
  • Help others in the community and world
  • Set goals and work hard at them
  • Show kindness
